The Cake Lady Cafe

The quirky feel of the store made you feel like eating in a 50's era Cafe. The melamine tables and old style metal chairs added to the authenticity. The coffee was very good as was the soup and Nachos we ordered. Very well priced.

The air hums with the spirit of the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, a sanctuary where the past lingers, not as a specter, but as a dear old friend. Gracious were the hosts, whose warmth did not wane, even as the hands of the clock beckoned the close of day. Hospitality, in its truest form, was bestowed upon me, as though time itself had been granted a brief reprieve. Before me, a bounty of delights—an array of sweet temptations resting within a frozen vault, each beckoning to be paired with the rich embrace of coffee. As Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing in the Dark wove through the air, I found solace in a most exquisite chocolate milkshake—a potion of indulgence, each sip a sonnet to the senses. And lo, the faithful did not waver! Even in the waning hours, they arrived, drawn to this haven as moths to a warm and welcoming flame. Norfolk holds many treasures, but here, in this quaint corner, beats a heart of unwavering hospitality and cheer. My gratitude to the noble keepers of this fine house—your kindness and bright smiles shall not be soon forgotten!

fun little cafe with all the nostalgic vibes! So so cute! food was great. Simple but delicious. Service was great and the staff are so friendly. Must try! We tried this as a random stop during our road trip in Tassie and the kitsch was just calling me. would be great for a ladies tea. so cute!

OH MY GAWD. this place is so cute. anyone (even locals) are encouraged to come here!! if i lived in the area, i would be there for breakfast every weekend. perfect food and drinks + GREAT staff. Keep it up guys everyone’s so welcoming and my milkshake was THE BEST. parking no problem

A lovely stop for coffee and good food displayed. Very reasonably priced noted but never ate. Just coffee & berry smoothie which was lovely Lots of retro displays that took me back in time. Lovely to support the locals. Very friendly service
